Ayesha Takia has ceased tolerating online trolls silently after being targeted for her rare public appearance.
On February 18, she posted a lengthy note on her Instagram profile, explaining what happened when she was recently stopped by the paparazzi.
The veteran actress expressed that two days ago, she had rushed to Goa, where her sister was hospitalized because of a medical emergency.
Amidst the urgency, the star was halted by the media, asking to pose for pictures before letting her go.
When these images were circulated on the internet, she was scrutinized for alleged plastic surgeries and weight issues.
Ayesha wrote, “My sister has literally been in hospital. Amidst all this, I remember being stopped by paps for a few seconds. Turns out, there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks.”
Adding that she has no interest in returning to her acting career, the celebrity asked people to stop caring about her appearance because neither does it matter anymore and nor she can ever be as young.
“Literally, get over me yaar. I'm living my life happily. Never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame, don't wanna be in any film... so chill. Expecting a girl whose mostly been seen in her teens to look identical even after 15 years… how unrealistic,” the veteran actress stated.
She has however thanked those followers who have accepted and supported her regardless of looks.
Ayesha made her big screen debut in 2004 with Taarzan: The Wonder Car, and immediately become popular.
She was a part of various famous productions like Wanted, Dil Maange More!!!, and Salaam-E-Ishq before quitting Bollywood altogether.
