Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, Meera Chopra, has released official pictures from her March 12 wedding with businessman Rakshit Kejriwal.
On the same day of the occasion, she posted a sequence of four photos from a dreamy location in Jaipur, smiling widely next to her significant other.
In the first two, the couple was snapped laughing as they exchanged flower garlands whereas a bloom of petals was showering them in the last one.
Third one highlighted Meera walking down the aisle alone with a great deal of focus on her magnificently assembled Sabyasachi bridal wear.
While the recent trend among actors is to wear white on their big day, she chose to rock a traditional red, like Priyanka did on her much-popularized marriage with Nick Jonas in 2018.
It is to be noted that neither her nor their other relative, Parineeti Chopra, was observed on the premises.
In an earlier chat with Siddharth Kannan, Meera revealed that she doesn’t share a close bond with her star cousins from the family, saying, “From the start, there was not much closeness between us. When three or four girls join the industry, they help each other. That did not happen to me. I am not the one that asks for help and even they never offered any help.”
In 2014, she however told NDTV, “I and Priyanka share an emotional bonding as we are of same age and she is always ready to help me.”
In the same interview, the actress stated regarding the promotions of her movie, Gang of Ghosts, “It was sweet of Priyanka to promote the film. She did it on her own as I didn't ask her to do that. Actually, I want to prove that I can do things on my own.”
