The reasons behind Meghan Markle encouraging prince Harry to reach out to his estranged brother prince William amid Kate Middleton’s cancer, have been explained.
During an exclusive conversation with The Mirror, a royal expert and author Tom Quinn explained, "Meghan is encouraging Harry to make contact with his family, partly because she will genuinely be sympathetic to Kate and William, despite their past difficulties.”
He continued, “but she also knows how bad it will look if there is any sense that she’s not being sympathetic and that she’s not encouraging Harry to reach out."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have not been in touch with the Prince and Princess of Wales since moving to the United States, reached out to prince William soon after his wife Princess Kate shared the shocking news of her cancer in an emotional video message.
Harry and Meghan issued a statement in which they extended their warm wishes towards Kate, noting, "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace."
Not only this, but the royal couple also reportedly reached out to Kate and William “privately” during their challenging times.
For the unversed, Catherine, broke silence on her abdominal surgery, two-month hiatus, and shocking cancer diagnosis after surgery, in her official video message on Friday, March 22, 2024.
The video message came amid the flood of controversies swirling around Kate in her absence from the public eye for nearly two months.
