Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, who recently created waves with her power-packed performance as Zamda in hit drama Khaie opened about the project, while extending gratitude towards her costars, producers and the crew members.

Dur-e-Fishan turned to her Instagram account right after the last episode of her career’s marvel, Khaie, to express her feelings filming the drama shortly after her accident and how the production was halted two years ago, when the project was first offered to her.

“I always say I am not deserving of most of the things I get in life but someone somewhere always keeps telling me that we are deserving of all we get,” began Dur-e-Fishan in her caption.

She went on to share, “Shot Khaie post my accident could hardly move my back and shoulder-today when I look back ;I am unable to understand the strength I had -the same girl who can’t move out of her bed post a slight stomach ache shot one of the most physically challenging roles of her life.”


The Kesi Teri Khudgharzi actress further revealed, “Khaie came to me 2 years before. We were planning to go on floor and the floods happened.”

Dur-e-fishan explained how she manages the filming of both Khaie and Ishq Murshid, which was happening simultaneously at two different locations, “cut to Khaie happening while I was shooting IM And the dates were crazy -15 days in Karachi 15 days in sakardu -I wouldn’t have done this for any other drama than Khaie.”

She also praised the studded cast of Khaie including Faysal Quraishi, who played Chanar Khan in the series, Osama Tahir who portrayed the role of Badal Khan and other the producers.
