Vidya Balan opened up about her very first heartbreak, when she was cheated on by her ex-boyfriend.
Balan had a love life before getting married to Siddharth Roy Kapur but things did not go as planned.
In an exclusive interview with Indian Express the Mission Mangal actress said, “I have been cheated on. The first boy I dated cheated on me and I have to tell you he was just an a(explicit)l. I remember we had just broken up and I bumped into him in college on Valentine’s Day and he turned around and said ‘I am just going to meet my ex-girlfriend for a date.’ And I was like what? He literally crushed me that day but I have done better than that in life for myself.”
When asked what type of men attracted her at that time, Balan revealed, “I was into a(explicit). All of them seem like a(explicit) in retrospect that’s the only pattern I can see. I obviously had a thing for them.”
“ I wasn’t a serial dater who would jump from one man to another, In fact I dated a few men and my first serious long relationship was with Sidharth, who I eventually got married to," concludes Balan.
