Priyanka Chopra has recollected the journey of jazzing her confidence up from 2000s to 2024.
Currently present in France for filming an upcoming flick called Heads of State, she shared a glittering mirror selfie taken in the interior of her trailer.
This was followed by the superstar floating a picture of her first ever movie, Thamizhan, which was released in 2002 and has now clocked in 22 years of its theatrical debut.
Eventually, Priyanka decided to toss another throwback to the time when she had won the Miss World contest in 2000 by gathering bits and pieces of her freshly found confidence.
Posting the same selfie with a photo from the pageant, she wrote, “How it started… how it’s going – PS: those 2000s brows tho. My 17 year old self was just trying to pretend like I belonged.”
“In that moment, I was desperately trying to keep it together. With the weight of the heavy sari and the newly acquired crown flimsily pinned into my hair with 2 bobby pins, my confidence was slowly slipping as well. But I held it together, just like my sari, with a few safety pins,” the actress added.
Now having knocked over two decades of a professional life, she has been stapled with labels of courage, positivity, resilience, and self-reliance.
Whenever Priyanka steps out in town, fans are found repeatedly paying tributes to her confidence in a pool of other compliments.
