Parineeti chopra opened up about the perceived advantages of being cousin sister of global icon Priyanka chopra.
In a recent interview on Raj shamaniâs posdcast, Parineeti shared her insights on the ongoing nepotism debate, shedding light on her own experiences in the film industry.
Addressing the notion that her connection to Priyanka could have propelled her career, Parineeti candidly stated, âIf being related to Priyanka Chopra couldâve helped my career, then I wouldnât have had any flops in my career. Iâve seen such lows in the last 10 years."
The Hasee Toh Phasee actress explained, "one might get their first chance, first audition, and first meeting, but later theyâre on their own and it becomes more difficult for them to prove themselves."
Parineeti Chopta furthered âThe comparisons will never end. So, what happens is, you can be a complete outsider, and itâs very difficult to survive. Or, you could be related to somebody and get that first meeting, but after that, your journey is your own.â
Despite her familial ties to a Bollywood superstar, Parineeti has forged her own path in the industry with resilience, encountering both triumphs and setbacks since her breakout role in 2011's Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.
