Kanye West faces legal action over ex-security guard's startling revelations

Kanye West’s former security guard has taken legal action against the rapper, alleging discrimination against black employees and wrongful termination.

A lawsuit filed by Benjamin Deshon Provo, accused the I Wonder rapper that he treated his Black personnel "less favourable” “than their White counterparts.

In a new lawsuit, he also alleged that West, 46, "frequently screamed at and berated Black employees" and fired him for refusing to cut his dreadlocks.

The Heartless singer is already entangled in a legal complaint from another employee who asserted he suffered “severe discrimination, harassment” during his services at the Donda Academy school and as part of his Yeezy brand.

As per the recent complaint, submitted on Friday, April 26, in Los Angeles, Provo worked for West in August 2021 and then attended Donda Academy for six months.

He was "assigned additional job duties as a result of a lack of staffing" at the new school location when it shifted.

Provo also guarded West's Sunday Service activities and let Yeezy utilise his warehouse.

The plaintiff stated that the CARNIVAL crooner demanded that "anyone associated with Donda dispose of books related to Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and other prominent figures in the Black community."

Moreover, the suit asserts that he received instructions to grab cameras and put himself and the paparazzi "in harm's way".

John Hicks, Provo's direct boss, responded as follows to his concerns over the pay gap, “Don’t bring up money to Ye. He doesn’t like to talk about money.”
