Jennifer Connelly has provided an exciting update on the highly-anticipated film with Tom Cruise, Top Gun 3.
While conversing with Entertainment Tonight at the Dark Matter premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, A Beautiful Mind star shared that she will be on the franchise for a third movie.
Connelly, who played Penny in Top Gun 2, said, before noting of Top Gun: Maverick, "I'll be there. I'm ready," adding, "We had such a great time shooting it. It was fun."
She is ready to share the screen with Tom Cruise, Glen Powell, Miles Teller, and other Top Gun performers, she further stated that she has not seen a screenplay for the third film just yet.
Connelly also added, “I haven't seen anything.”
She continued, "I had a casual chat with my friend, Joe Kosinski, who directed it, who I worked with twice now. I'm his biggest fan. I think he's so great. [I talked to him] about the possibility of it, but I don't know anything concrete."
Connelly's remarks came after four months of Puck News' update regarding the development of Top Gun 3, confirming the return of Cruise, Powell, and Teller to the project.
