Pakistan's Bilal Abbas Khan has expressed his desire to be directed by Indian filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj!

In an interview with a local media outlet, the Pyar Ke Sadqay actor said, "I love watching movies and web series, be it Hollywood or Bollywood. I have seen a lot of Indian movies including the South Indian ones. They are the reason that I am an actor today.”

He continued, "I wish to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. I have seen all his films like Omkara, Kaminey, Haider and Maqbool. His understanding of cinema is amazing and I aspire to be part of films that comprise performance-driven characters and a powerful storyline. He is my all-time favourite.”

Bilal Abbas Khan aka Shahmeer Sikandar essays the role of a corrupt politician's son who falls in love with a middle class girl in drama serial Ishq Murshid. 

Ishq Murshid’s last episode is slated to hit cinemas on May 3.

He has also gained massive acclaim for starring in Mehreen Jabbar’s Ek Jhoothi Love Story, opposite Madiha Imam.
