King Charles was over taken by a burst of emotions as he talked about the “shock” of being diagnosed with cancer upon his return to royal duties.

To process it, Your Majesty had taken time off from work after receiving its confirmation from doctors, but after showing a health progress through treatments, his medical team has allowed for his public return.

According to The Mirror, he attended the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre alongside wife Queen Camilla as part of their first official commitment in months.

At the clinic, when King Charles got the chance to speak about his own disease identification, he told one patient in conversation, “It’s always a bit of a shock, isn’t it, when they tell you?”

Not only this, the Monarch seemed very emotional throughout his visit, which reflected in his responses.

After another patient told him about her chemotherapy sessions, he replied, “I’ve got to have my treatment this afternoon as well.”

And when a sufferer asked how he was coping along these days, King Charles said, “I’m all right, thank you very much. Not too bad.”
