Sam Asghari, the former partner of Britney Spears, has expressed deep concern and empathy for the pop star following a "heartbreaking" incident at the Chateau Marmont.

As per the reports, a source exclusively told US Weekly, “Sam will always have a soft spot for Britney and will always be protective over her,” adding that the situation is “heartbreaking” to Asghari.

The source went on to say, “Sam is a helper and was there for her in her hardest times. He hopes she is OK.”

Although the Toxic songstress and the Hot Seat star "do not communicate anymore" but Asghari described the scenario at Chateau Marmont as "definitely worrisome" after authorities arrived on Thursday.

The source added, “Sam has been down this road with Britney before and knows how she is,” noting that Asghari “feels terrible if she is not surrounded by positive people in her life.”

Despite the couple finalized the divorce after 9 months of separation due to “irreconcilable differences”, Asghari “will always wish [Spears] the best and would be there for her if she needed him.”

On the same day that their divorce concluded, Spears was pictured leaving Chateau Marmont wearing pyjama bottoms, covered in a blanket, and carrying a pillow, raising concerns about her health.

“She rolled her ankle walking down the stairs so they treated the ankle. She’s fine,” a separate source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari tied the knot on June 9, 2022, and they got separated after 14 months of their marriage.
