Rihanna skipped Met Gala 2024 for a health-related reason after fueling fans’ excitement and anticipation for days.
As reported by PEOPLE, a source has exclusively revealed that Rihanna had to skip Met Gala as she is suffering from flu.
Rihanna and partner A$AP Rocky are known to be fashionably late at the mega fashion event since 2021 as they both appeared at 10:00 PM last year, which was way late than the actual call time.
A few days prior to Met Gala, in her conversation with Extra, Rihanna casually hinted at a "real simple" look for this year’s fashion event.
She said, "I'm actually keeping it real simple this year. ... It's gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do," adding, "Very simple-ish ... compared to everything I have done."
“I am showing up for dinner,” the Diamonds singer joked.
