Kareena Kapoor Khan has recently found herself in a legal entanglement after receiving a court notice for her choice of title for a pregnancy book.
According to the report, the Jaane Jaan starlet received a notice from the Madhya Pradesh High Court on petition against her new pregnancy memoir Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible.
The legal notice was sent after an advocate petitioned the court to prohibit the use of the term "bible" in the book's title.
Kareena Kapoor and the bookseller received the notice by a single-judge bench of Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia following Christopher Anthony's petition to register a case against them.
The Crew star has been asked by the court to provide an explanation regarding the inclusion of the word "bible" in the title.
Anthony, the petitioner, also mandated the ban on the book's sale in his requisition.
In a petition, he alleged that the use of the word "bible" in the book's title is hurtful to the sentiments of the Christian community.
"Bible is the holy book of Christianity all over the world and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy with the Bible," he said
The petitioner also mentioned that the Jab We Met star used the word to gain "cheap publicity" for her book.
For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor published her book in 2021, based on her pregnancy journey and guidance for expecting mothers.
