Bridgerton star Florence Hunt recently made a surprising revelation about her connection to Princess Diana through the wardrobe of the show's season 3.
While conversing with PEOPLE at the premiere of the Netflix series season 3 on May 13, the Harmony star shared that she was honoured to wear attire made of the same fabric as Princess Diana's gowns.
She noted, “I wore this beautiful blue dress, and I believe it was a cut off from Princess Diana's dress that she wore at some point.”
Hunt added, ““A cut off from one of her dresses that they made for Princess Diana and they made a dress out of that fabric, which was mental. It’s crazy, yeah.”
In Bridgerton, Hunt who played Hyacinth further revealed that the wardrobe team on the show “let me keep a little piece of the fabric” after filming.
“I just thought it was amazing. I felt like I was wearing a piece of history,” she stated.
To note, according to British Vogue, Bridgerton costume designer John Glaser cited Audrey Hepburn from My Fair Lady as an influence on the third season's designs for the role of Eloise Bridgerton, as well as Grace Kelly and Katherine Hepburn for Franscesca Bridgerton.
