Zayn Malik has shared a tender moment from his parenting journey, expressing how he finds himself moved to tears while watching the children's television show Bluey with his daughter, Khai.
The Pillowtalk crooner opened up about his emotional moment in a behind-the-scenes video with NYLON, following his candid new interview.
Malik admitted, "I'm actually quite a sensitive guy,” adding, “I cry a lot at movies.”
When asked what the most recent film he wept at, he confessed it was "probably a Disney film," adding that he watches several of them with his 3½-year-old daughter whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
“They hit hard, my man; it’s not a joke. Disney knows what they’re doing,” said Malik.
The former member of One Direction continued, “I actually I cried at a cartoon, I don’t know if it's familiar with people. It's called Bluey. It’s for kids.”
He added, “It makes me cry regularly. I don't know why.”
Malik also hailed the series writer, saying, “They have amazing script writers and some of the stories are just so like, wicked for parents, you know?” He clarified that “there's always like an underlying message that they always get me, man. They choke me up, I end up crying.”
To note, Bluey is the Australian series that first started airing in October 2018 and its season 3 wrapped in April 2024, and producer Sam Moor confirmed to BBC that month there will be a fourth season.
