Brad Pitt's upcoming Formula 1 film's producer Jerry Bruckheimer spilled major beans about the actor's intense training for the racing driver's role.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE magazine at the Los Angeles premiere of Young Woman and the Sea on Thursday, May 16, Jerry shared insights into Brad's preparation.
"He trained for four or five months. He's an amazing driver. In fact, some of the F1 drivers said he's a natural athlete. He really is. He's amazing in that car."
When the Pirates of the Caribbean producer was asked about Brad's driving speeds on the track, he jokingly replied, "I can't tell you. The insurance company will kill me."
Brad Pitt is playing the role of an aging F1 driver in the movie, which also includes Javier Bardem and Damson Idris as lead cast.
For the unversed, Brad was also spotted filming the F1 movie in July 2023, wearing a racing suit and walking around the track with real F1 drivers at the British Grand Prix in Northamptonshire, U.K.
At that time, Brad Pitt talked to Sky Sports F1 presenter Martin Brundle about the upcoming movie.
He shared, "What's amazing about it is that you'll see cameras come out all over the car, with shots you've never seen before, speed, and G forces like never before. It's really, really exciting."
