Kevin Costner was feeling “tremendously proud” next to his second-youngest child, Hayes Logan Costner, at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, May 18.

The two had come together hand-in-hand to pose for a memorable shot taken at a segment to market Horizon: An American Saga, which is an upcoming 2024 film starring both of them.

In the movie, Kevin Costner will be seen portraying a character named Hayes Ellison, so this instance was even more special to him, according to Daily Mail.

But that’s not all! Hayes Logan Costner has signed to play a younger version of his father in the same production.

And there’s one more catch.

In April, Kevin Costner told Entertainment Tonight that his 15-year-old son had been named after his role from Horizon.

“I named him after the character I play in this. I was watching him grow up and I was thinking, ‘Man, I better get with it and make this movie,’ ” the Yellowstone star said.

Interestingly, the real-life Hayes Logan Costner is also making his big screen debut with this film, and that’s exactly why his dad was feeling every bit of pride at Cannes.

It happens to be a time when Kevin Costner’s most-loved character is coming to life.

The duo seemingly loves the idea so much that they had even come in matching white suits to honor the occasion.
