King Charles’ first official portrait, slammed by critics, has shockingly been linked to satanic worship online.

Days after the Jonathan Yeo portrait was unveiled, a British man took a deep dive in to the portrait’s striking red hued background.

In a video that has since gone viral on the photo-sharing app, the man allegedly flipped and then mirrored the portrait in a photo-editing app, leading to a shocking discovery; a goat head, Baphomet, that usually symbolises satanic worship.

"I wanted to make sure this was real before reporting it on my Instagram account and this is what I got," the man said in the clip.

The video, shared on Instagram by hidden.ny, was captioned: “The new King Charles painting has a hidden face in it that looks way too much like Satan… The painting looked creepy to begin with. It looks like he literally posed for it in hell.”

This comes a week after the portrait, King Charles’ first official one since his coronation, was unveiled at the Palace in the presence of the monarch himself.

Soon after the portrait’s unveiling, royal enthusiasts took to social media to slam the ‘bloody’ portrait, with one royal expert even calling it ‘hellish’ owing to its deep red colour.
