Elton John is set to release his new album as revealed by his long-time collaborator Bernie Taupin.
As per The Sun, Bernie said at The Other Songs Live event in London about John's next record which will come sooner rather than later.
“Elton and I have an album coming out very soon, but I daren’t say anything about it because I’m under strict orders to keep schtum," the lyricist said.
He further added that “it’s all done and recorded."
“I think it’s quite brilliant and quite contemporary and it will certainly surprise a lot of people and excite a lot of people and hopefully be successful," Bernie concluded.
The visual artist mentioned last September with PEOPLE that he discussed the future of his work with the Sacrifice singer, indicating that touring may not be included but new music will definitely be part of it.
"Who knows — he may not do anything anymore, but we’ll definitely make another record,” Bernie said.
He added, “There’s no doubt about that. Just because he isn’t touring doesn’t mean he is fading to black. He’s still going to be very much active in other areas.”
To note, the upcoming album of Elton John will be his 32nd album.
