Pep Guardiola, the esteemed manager of Manchester City, is expected to part ways with the club after an illustrious tenure since joining in 2016.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Guardiola is expected to depart next season as his contract with Manchester City concludes at the end of the 2024-2025 campaign.

The reports further suggested that Manchester City wants the former Barcelona player to stay longer, but they anticipate Guardiola will leave.

However, they'll start planning for a new manager after losing the FA Cup final to Manchester United.

Guardiola himself has acknowledged that his departure is nearing, although he has pledged to remain on the touchline for Manchester City next season.

Under Guardiola's leadership, Manchester City has risen to prominence in European football, securing six Premier League titles in the last seven seasons, a remarkable feat.

However, his potential exit poses a significant challenge for Manchester City, given his pivotal role in shaping the club's legacy, including their maiden UEFA Champions League triumph last season.

Meanwhile, Guardiola has assured fans that City will bounce back next season after their FA Cup final disappointment.

Guardiola stated confidently, “We will be back next season, the FA Cup, we will take it.”
