Prince Harry’s bold decision of not attending his beloved friend Duke of Westminster Hugh Richard Louis Grosvenor’s wedding with Olivia Henson speaks about his plans of not returning to royal family ever.
BBC’s royal correspondent Jennie Bond analyzed Harry’s situation as he has isolated himself by turning down the society of the year event.
During his conversation with OK! Jennie, she said, "This will be another pinch point for Harry, another illustration that he has now excluded himself from the royal family, and from most of his UK friends.”
“It must be a grim reality for him,” she added.
The royal expert further noted, "You do have to wonder whether he realised that by walking away from his Royal life, he was alienating himself from pretty much everyone and everything he had known in the UK.”
Prince Harry declined the invitation of the duke of Westminster to avoid any “awkward” interaction with his brother and heir to the throne William, who is also serve as an Usher at Hugh’s wedding.
Prince Harry recently visited to the UK to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, however the Duke of the Sussex did not meet his cancer-stricken father King Charles, because of monarch's busy schedule.
