Prince William schedules first foreign trip without Kate Middleton

Prince William will be touching down in France alone

Prince William will be flying solo overseas to meet some European royals for celebrating D-Day’s upcoming 80th anniversary.

He is expected to be present for the international commemorative ceremony, which is set to unfold on June 6, 2024, at the Omaha Beach in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, France.

The Prince of Wales will be joined by Crown Prince Haakon from Norway, King Frederik of Denmark, and Belgium’s King Philippe coming along with his wife, Queen Mathilde.

According to Hello! Magazine, King Willem-Alexandar from The Netherlands is also prepared to be touching down in the country with Queen Maxima.

This is going to be quite an eventful day for the royals as the morning will begin with King Charles and Queen Camilla visiting the Royal British Legion’s event at Ver-sur-Mer.

Next, Prince William shall be seen going out for a Canadian ceremony at the Juno Beach Centre before moving on to the international conference.

Kate Middleton will not be observed by his side during this trip because of an ongoing cancer treatment.

She has however met many European royals before and even shares a great bond with King Frederik and his spouse.

This is for the first time that Prince William has scheduled a foreign visit since her diagnosis.
