Alia Bhatt has stood in solidarity with those fighting for life in the Rafah city of Palestine.

Today, on May 28, she dedicated an Instagram story to the people suffering in the Gaza strip by resharing a photo from another profile.

It read: “All children deserve love. All children deserve safety. All children deserve peace. All children deserve life. And all mothers deserve to be able to give their children those things.”

To make it clearer that she’s speaking for Palestinians, Alia Bhatt added an “All Eyes on Rafah” hashtag, which is heavily being used across all social media channels currently.

It has been created for drawing the entire world’s attention to the heavy bombs endured by survivors in the Gazan city as Israel continues its genocide.

According to Indy100, “the phrase calls on people to stay up to date to the attacks against Palestinians, to not look away, and to demand a ceasefire.”

Given India’s friendly relations with Israel, most Indian celebrities haven’t voice out for the cause, especially high-profile names, such as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Alia Bhatt has however been joined by Anushka Manchanda, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker, Sonam Kapoor, and Sonakshi Sinha in showing support.

Others names include Saba Azad, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Dia Mirza, Gauahar Khan, Radhika Apte, Aly Goni, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Amy Jackson, and Nakuul Mehta.
