Johnny Wactor’s ex-fiancée Tessa Farrell expressed her sadness over the tragic demise of actor, who took his last breath on Saturday, May 25 at the age of 37.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, May 28, Tessa shared her grief and reminisced about the time she spent with the General Hospital actor.
Tressa while recalling the phone call that informed her of Wactor's passing, expressed her shocking reaction, noting "I'm like, 'Where did he get shot?' You know? 'Where is he right now?”
“I wanna, you know, go see him or help.' And she didn't tell me initially where he got shot. She just said he didn't make it. And at that point, there's nothing I can, you know, nothing no one can say or do to change that,” the actress added.
Wactor's fiancé further told the outlet that she still keeps her engagement ring with her despite her breakup with the late actor.
Tressa while recalling the moment of their engagement, expressed, "It was a really beautiful moment, and I always -- I had it on before and I always will have it on because it reminds me of, you know, true love or everlasting love."
"Sadly, it has another meaning to it [now], but, you know, I'm grateful -- at least I have it still and I have memories of him," she acknowledged.
Johnny Wactor was reportedly shot by armed car thieves on Saturday, while he was shielding a female co-worker from gunfire in Los Angeles.
He is known for his work in General Hospital, Siberia , Supercell and USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage.
