Cristiano Ronaldo ‘proud’ to make history in 4 countries

Cristiano Ronaldo made history once again as he became the first-ever soccer player to become the top scorer in four different countries.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner achieved this milestone as he scored two goals (34th and 35th) for his team Al Nassr in the Saudi Premier League (SPL) and became the top scorer of the SPL with 35 goals in 31 matches.

After this new record, the 39-year-old footballer has become a top player in four different leagues in four different countries.


The Portuguese star footballer took to Instagram to celebrate his achievement with a perfect and brief video of his records.

CR7 wrote in a post, “Proud to make history as the first top scorer in 4 countries (Scotland, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia flags). A huge thank you to all the clubs, teammates and staff who helped me along the way.”

Ronaldo became the top player in the Premier League (2007- 2008) while playing for Manchester United when he netted 31 goals in 34 games.

The second time, he won the Golden Boot for scoring 40 goals in 34 games for Real Madrid (2010- 2011), and in season 2013- 2014, he once again achieved the same feat with 31 goals in 30 matches.

He made a hat-trick of scoring most of becoming the top scorer for Juventus in Serie A after scoring 29 goals in 33 games.

The social media user reacted to Ronaldo's post and called him ‘Legend,’ ‘The King,’ ‘God of football’ and ‘GOAT.’
