Prince Harry opens up about breakup with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy

Prince Harry details ‘paranoia’ surrounding split with Chelsy Davy

Prince Harry has recalled the paranoia he lived through when tabloids interfered into his relationship with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, subsequently leading to their breakup.

In an upcoming documentary named Tabloid on Trial, the Duchess of Sussex pointed out that a gossip magazine had predicted their split even before them.

Remembering its headline “Harry’s Girl to Dump Him,” he said, “Seems as though they knew something before I even did.”

King Charles’ younger son then added, “I think there’s a lot of I guess, paranoia, fear, worry, concern, distrust in the people around you, clearly a headline like that has absolutely no public interest.”

“There’s a big difference between what interests the public and what is public interest, so what happens in my private life between myself and [my] then-girlfriend is exactly that, between us,” he pointed out.

According to Independent, Prince Harry had previously released in a court case that tabloids were tapping his conversations with Chelsy Devy since they mostly conversed online.

This included intercepting their flight bookings, hotel details, holiday locations, and of course chats with other friends.

And that’s how the media find out that the Duke of Sussex is going to be dumped before his partner actually told him.
