Prince Harry has made a bombshell revelation about his late mother, Princess Diana’s mental health, claiming that “she was not paranoid.”

During an interview with journalist Rebecca Barry for documentary Tabloids on Trial, the Duke of Sussex lashed out at the British tabloid press for portraying Princess Diana as "paranoid".

When asked about phone hacking resulting in paranoia, referencing a past statement by his brother, Prince William, who implied Diana suffered from paranoia, Harry said, “I think paranoia is a very interesting word.”

He went on to explain, “because, yes, then it could be paranoia, but then when you're vindicated it proves that you weren't being paranoid.”

"Same with my mother. There's evidence to suggest she was being hacked in the mid-90s. Probably one of the first people to be hacked,” Harry revealed, however, it has never been proven that Diana was hacked, despite Harry's claims in his lawsuits against British tabloids.

The duke continued, "And yet still today the press, the tabloid press, very much enjoy painting her as being paranoid but she wasn't paranoid.

"She was absolutely right of what was happening to her. And she's not around today to find out the truth,” Harry concluded.

Prince Harry's comments come as he continues to sue the British press over allegations of phone hacking.

ITV’s Tabloids on Trial, is scheduled to air on Thursday July 25.
