Kevin Feige has become 2,785th person to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Marvel Studios president was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, July 25, in Los Angeles, recognizing his unparalleled contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Feige, 51, was joined by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, stars of the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine, as well as other Marvel actors including Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Brie Larson, David Harbour, Simu Liu, Ke Huy Quan, Kathryn Hahn, Emma Corrin, and Sebastian Stan.

In a recent interview with Variety, Feige gushed over the honor, noting, “You don’t expect to get a star on the Walk of Fame when you’re a behind-the-scenes person. That’s all my dream ever was.”

After the event, Reynolds also took to his Instagram account to praise Feige, saying, " Kevin Feige has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I had the honour and opportunity to speak to his character. It’s not every day you find someone in showbiz who’s reached the empyrean heights Kevin Feige has reached.”

He went on to express,” But to reach those heights as a genuinely kind, steady, generous and creatively brilliant person is absolutely unheard of. Cheers to your star, Kev. And I believe this makes me a Reserve Avenger — no take backs.”

The ceremony comes on the eve of the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, which hits theaters on Friday, July 26, which marks the latest installment in the MCU.
