American gymnastics star Simone Biles is set to achieve another milestone in her illustrious career ahead of Paris Olympics.

On Friday, Biles submitted an innovative skill on the uneven bars to the International Gymnastics Federation, as per The New York Times.

If she successfully performs the skill during women's qualifying on Sunday, it will be the sixth skill named after her in gymnastics’ Code of Points.

Biles already has two skills named after her on the vault, including the Yurchenko double pike, and one each on floor exercise and balance beam.

Adding a new skill on the uneven bars would make her the only active gymnast with eponymous skills on all four apparatus.

The new skill involves a forward circle around the lower bar, transitioning into a handstand with a 540-degree pirouette.

While, uneven bars are often considered Biles' "weakest" event, she remains a top competitor.

Out of her 37 Olympic and World Championship medals, only one is from the uneven bars.
