In a fresh development, the Prince of Wales takes a shocking decision regarding Queen Camilla's sister Annabel Elliot.

As reported by Mirror, William has removed Elliot from royal payroll after 19 years of her services as an interior designer for royal estates.

The 75-year-old chief designer of royal estates was hired by King Charles III in 2005 after his marriage to Queen Camilla, and was being paid hundred thousand pounds for her services.

This decision from the future king came after he took over the Duchy of Cornwall, along with other organizations as patron.

During her 19 years of services with 'team Cornwall', Elliot worked on decorating and updating Duchy holiday cottage portfolio, Wales, and the Isles of Scilly.

The Duchy’s yearly records indicate that it spent between £19,625 and £82,272 annually on maintaining its rental properties, offices, and plant nursery.

In addition, Ms. Elliot received annual reimbursements ranging from £7,160 to £90,285 for purchasing furniture, furnishings, and retail items.

Despite William’s very bold decision royal sources have confirmed that this step has nothing to do with Ms Elliot’s work.

Furthermore, The latest Duchy of Cornwall accounts revealed that for the first time in almost two decades, Ms Elliot was not paid for her services during 2023-2024.
