In a recent court appearance, Justin Timberlake's lawyer contended that the singer was 'not drunk' during his DWI arrest.

As per the Daily Mail, the Selfish singer's lawyer, Edward Burke, told reporters outside court on Friday, "He was not intoxicated. I'll say it again. Justin Timberlake was not intoxicated."

The lawyer also added, "The police made a number of very significant errors in this case.”

Burke stated, "In court today, you heard the district attorney try to fix one of those errors. But that's just one and there are many others. Sometimes the police make mistakes and this is just one of those instances."

The lawyer also said that the case ought to be withdrawn as the prosecution had neglected to "get a superior officer's signature on the initial charging papers."
