Tom Daley was spotted knitting a huge cardigan while watching women compete in the Olympics 2024 diving competition.

Being a diver himself, he has been frequently seen sewing away by the poolside, according to Daily Mail.

Previously, the athlete was famously sighted needling threads at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as he goggled teammate Jack Laugher, who eventually secured a bronze medal in a diving springboard spree.

This time in Paris, people seated in the stands alongside were observed craning their necks to catch him stitch a blue cardigan complemented with a round red neck.

On its back, the jumper had “DALEY” written in white bold capitals, and Tom Daley himself was seemingly almost done creating his piece as he was just finishing off the top.

He was in attendance for supporting Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen, who won Team Great Britain its first medal in the 2024 Olympics Paris tournament by finishing in the third place.

Tom Daley has spoken up about his passion for this hobby in the past.

He expressed, “When we went to Japan for the test event I actually took my knitting with me and was doing it during my competition because sometimes there’s 45 minutes in between each dive.”

“So I’d sit there and knit and just take my mind off the competition completely. I’m obsessed!” the sportsman added.
