The highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine has soared to new heights, securing the eighth biggest opening weekend in history with an impressive $205 million domestic, $440 million worldwide box office.

Deadpool 3 not only marks a significant achievement for the film but also sets a new standard for R-rated movies.

With Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the wise-cracking Deadpool and Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, the new Marvel film has echoed strongly with viewers.

Both Ryan and Hugh took to their respective Instagram accounts to celebrate the milestone, sharing an animation featuring their characters Deadpool and Wolverine.

“I miss Hugh already,” wrote the bullet train actor in the caption alongside the poster featuring both actors laying on bed and looking at the poster displaying the words, “#1 movie in the world”


Reacting to film’s record-breaking opening, Hugh also shared the animated poster with a caption that read, “Wolverine and Deadpool is the #1 movie in the world. Thank you ALL!”


The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman played a huge role in drawing fans and contributed significantly to the film’s financial success.
