Superstar Mahira Khan shared a childhood memory from the past, revealing how her grandmother hated the word 'yaar.'
Recently a short clip of Khan's interview went viral where the actress explained, "My grandmother really disliked the word 'yaar.' Perhaps during her time, someone used it in a way that made her detest it."
She continued, "I used to use the word 'yaar' a lot in front of my grandmother, sometimes calling my mother 'yaar' and sometimes even my grandmother. I didn't know back then that she didn't like the word."
" One day my grandmother asked me the meaning of yaar. I replied to her that I didn't know it after which my grandmother told me, When you find out the meaning of this word, come to me," the Bin Roye star continued.
To note, Mahira Khan is seemingly very close to her grandmother and often mentions her name in interviews, sharing her likes and dislikes and the significant role her beloved nani played in her correct upbringing.
