Jennie Garth is finding “clarity” within herself!

While conversing in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the Beverly Hills, 90210, alum revealed how she has been reevaluating her priorities now that she has entered her 50s.

The actress also shared how she has come to terms with the fact that spending countless hours on set no longer holds the same importance for her.

"I love acting; I love being in front of the camera. I do not love being on a movie set," the I Can See Your Voice panelist told the outlet.

She further added, "I don't love sitting in my trailer waiting for lighting and everything else; I just don't. And I don't love being away from my family all those hours. So I was able to say, that's not my first priority anymore."

Garth admitted that saying no has been a tough lesson. She continued to explain that it's challenging to step away from the habit of saying yes to every opportunity, especially when it comes to making money.

“You just reach a point where you're like, life is too short to do something that I don't fully love," noted the actress.

Garth further said that hitting 50 was a turning point that provided her with a clear vision of the future and helped her realize what she doesn’t want to pursue anymore and concentrate on what truly matters.

"I decided that I would like to focus on trying to help people or spread some positivity with whatever I do. That's the message behind the brand, Me by Jennie Garth, and the I Choose Me podcast. It's all about trying to help people,” she concluded.
