The Parent Trap, which was released 26 years ago on July 20, 1998, was an American comedy-drama film that centered around the lives of identical twins, Annie and Hallie, each raised apart by one of their biological parents. The twins met each other for the first time at a summer camp and plan to reunite their separated parents.

Based on Erich Kastner’s Lisa and Lottie, the film featured Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, and Lindsay Lohan in the lead roles.
