King Charles is apparently ignoring Prince Harry’s “calls for help!”

The rift between King Charles and Prince Harry appeared to diminish after their positive meeting in February following the King’s cancer diagnosis. However, new behind-the-scenes from insiders suggest there’s more to the story.

As per claims made by sources close to Prince Harry, the monarch has stopped answering his son’s phone calls and responding to his letters, reported PEOPLE Magazine.

"He gets 'unavailable right now.' His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King's health, but those calls go unanswered too,” revealed a friend of Prince Harry.

Amid their estranged relationship, the prince is deeply concerned for the safety of his wife, Meghan Markle, and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and has made numerous attempts to ask King Charles for help, said an insider.

"Harry is frightened and feels the only person who can do anything about it is his father,” told a royal insider to the outlet.

Whereas another revealed, “Harry is determined to protect his own family at all costs."

In a recent ITV documentary, Tabloids on Trial, aired on July 25 in the U.K., Prince Harry opened up about his fears that negative media coverage might trigger a violent attack on his wife.

"All it takes is one lone actor," said the prince as his reason to not bring his family back to the U.K.
