King Charles cries recalling ‘bloody pen’ mishap as he arrives in Scotland

King Charles sent throwback to his tough luck with pens

King Charles once again sighed at his bad luck with fountain pens as he arrived in Scotland today, on July 31.

Your Majesty was invited to the ceremony of a giant peat bog being given a world heritage site status by Unesco officially.

Once there, he was escorted around for a magnificent tour of a nature preserve named Forsinard Flows, which is situated in the Forsinard area of Sutherland.

According to Hello Magazine, the land stores around 400 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, and that happens to be a number exceeding the total carbon storage of all UK woodlands combined!

King Charles was asked to sign a book at the center, where he quipped, “I’m hoping that my pen is going to work. It doesn’t usually.”

Back in September 2022, just a few days after taking over the throne, Your Majesty had aired a big amount of frustration at those inking instruments.

In a viral video that was recorded at the Hillsborough Castle, he was heard shouting at a pen, “I can’t bear this bloody thing!”

After a couple of tries, the pen finally worked, but the Monarch realized that he had signed the wrong date.

King Charles immediately cried, “Oh God, I hate this! Oh look, it’s going everywhere. I can’t bear this bloody thing! What they do every stinking time.”

Cut to October 2022, he told Queen Camilla, “These things are so temperamental,” when a visitor handed him a pen to sign their book.
