Friends’ Lisa Kudrow has a heartwarming incident to share!

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Where Everybody Knows Your Name, the iconic Friends star flashed back to the memories of weeks after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center.

She recalled how it had become a usual sight while driving back home from shooting in LA that someone sitting in a car next to her might “look over and go, ‘Ah,’ and wave or something.”

Those were the moments and interactions that held even more weight.

"It happened a few times driving home—someone's next to me and they looked over, and they just looked exhausted and tired and just went [and mouthed 'Thank you'],” said the Comeback actress.

She further expressed, “And it almost made me cry, and that's where it hit me—'Oh  no, we are actually providing a service—like, a mental health service by entertaining people.’”

Kudrow suggested that people needed to take a break from the news for a while and simply laugh and enjoy a world where the traumatic events hadn’t taken place.

The hit sitcom starred Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Davis Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and the late actor Matthew Perry.
