Pakistani actress Sajal Aly set the internet on fire with groovy dance moves at friend Umair Qazi’s wedding event and the video has gone viral.
The Yeh Dil Mera star shook a leg with the groom during the event, her elder sister Saboor Aly was also spotted dancing along with many other celebrities from Pakistani entertainment industry.
The 27-year-old set the dance floor ablaze with song Haye O Rabba. Other celebrities spotted dancing along with her in the short video clips were Urwa Hocane, Kinza Hashmi and sister Saboor.
However, Sajal received a lot of backlash for dressing ‘inappropriately’ at the event and not following COVID-19 protocols.
One of the social media users wrote, “[S]o sad so sad . when we are dealing with 3rd wave of covid these so called celebrities dancing over the SOPs.” [sic]
Another wrote, “Such a shame when we are going through this pandemic.. so many people have lost their love ones due to corona and these Pakistani artists have no shame.” [sic]
