One of the Pakistan’s most talented artists, Sakina Samo has recently announced her upcoming project. The veteran star will be making a film as her latest directorial venture, featuring top stars of the industry, actors Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Humaima Malik.
Samo, who has delivered notable performance in several drama serials including, Darr Si Jaati Hai Sila, Matana Maahi and Log Kya Kahenge, has confirmed the news in two separate Instagram posts on Monday.
Taking to social media, the Pride of Performance recipient star shared a picture with Pehli Si Mohabbat actor and Asad Siddiqui and confirmed her next film.
In the caption, she wrote, “By the grace of Allah, I am able to announce some details about my next film. I am so pleased to say Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui and Asad Siddiqui (not related!) are confirmed cast members.”
While in another IG post, Samo revealed the leading lady of her upcoming film. Sharing the stunning picture of actress Malik, who has delivered iconic performance in movie Bol, Samo wrote, “And here is our leading lady...the talented Humaima Malik.”
Without revealing the name of the film, Samo shared some details about the upcoming project. She wrote that, “I’m humbled and proud to be directing a story set in interior Sindh. All I can say at this point is it’s a love story inspired by true events and characters. It’s a script that I’ve been mulling over for decades, finally I’ve put pen to paper!”
