After the attack on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) headquarters in Lahore and the cancellation of ongoing Women’s Championship in Karachi, the PFF has been under the dark clouds of FIFA ban.
During the struggling times, along with many sports lovers and players, Pakistan’s prominent showbiz personalities, Mahira Khan and Yumna Zaidi have expressed their concerns and extended their support for Pakistan’s Women football team.
Both starlets have requested the authorities to resolve the women footballers’ issues, as the ban would mean that the country would no longer be able to compete internationally and also, would see the mass unemployment of its stars and staff.
Taking to the social media platform, the Raaz-e-Ulfat actress shared her thoughts on the matter.

She shared a detailed note on Instagram Story that reads, “Sports are essential for a society to remain healthy and provide us with the heroes we so desperately need to look up to and represent our country. At present, the current Pakistan women’s national football team seems to be going through a host of issues and I want to appeal to whoever is listening to please help them. We need this! We need them to shine.”
Sharing a video of football star Hajra Khan on Instagram stories, the Raees actress expressed her concerns and wrote, “Respect the game!!! Respect the players!!”

In a video message, Hajra Khan shared her thoughts and expressed her disappointment. She said, "We are on verge of getting banned by FIFA as a country which means we will not be able to represent Pakistan internationally in football.”
"We have worked hard for years, we are disappointed. I want to tell them that please respect the game and respect the players," Khan added.
