The recent example is actress Sanya Malhotra starrer, Netflix's film Pagglait. In the movie, the actress has portrayed the role of a young widow and her journey in the society after her husband’s demise.
The Dangal actress has given her stunning performance in the film and has received praise by both fans and critics. Recently, the Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut also lauded Malhotra’s performance in Pagglait.
Taking to Twitter, the Manikarnika actress retweeted a magazine cover and wrote, "She is soooo good .... I am gald people are recognising her talent, I heard #PagglaitOnNetflix is doing amazingly well... so happy for you Sanya you deserve everything and much more ... lots of love to you."
Responding to Ranaut’s tweet, the 29-year-old star expressed her emotions and responded to her tweet, "Thank you so much. It really means a lot."
Speaking to Hindustan Times, the Badhai Ho actress revealed that, “My hands were shaking," when she came across her tweet.
"She is my senior in the industry. And not just during Dangal, I used to say this in every interview, I used to say that I am huge fan. She is quite inspiring. And her praising me on Twitter was a very big news for me and my family. My hands were shaking when I read that tweet. I was like ‘Oh my God, is this…?’ I couldn’t believe it you know. And that’s really sweet of her to tweet something so beautiful. I am extremely grateful," she added.
Released on March 26, Pagglait is directed by Umesh Bist. The film’s cast includes prominent actors like Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, Sayani Gupta and Meghna Malik.
