Pakistani model and actress Saheefa Jabbar Khattak is known for her stunning sense of style. The model has donned every style including, traditional and western with perfection.

Recently, the Bhool famed actress has landed herself into hot waters as she announced a thrift sell on her Instagram platform.

Khattak had announced to sell a few of her used clothes online and this announcement welcomed a wave of criticism and backlash on social media.

The model-turned-actress was criticized by netizens for holding a sale and “misusing” her large following on the social media platform.

Addressing the hate, the Log Kya Kahenge actress posted a series of Instagram stories in which, she responded to the negative feedback and shared the hateful messages she received for selling clothes from her wardrobe.

She began saying, “Hello, I hope you all are doing well and those who aren’t I pray that God blesses you with good health.” The fashion dive then continued, “When I posted a collection of items regarding selling my clothes yesterday, many of you messaged with your own share of questions which left me confused to say the least. I was muddled whether I shall answer those queries but then I decided why not, incase anyone’s left with a misunderstanding.”

The 32-year-old model listed down the offensive questions she received and said, “Why selling clothes when you seem like a rich person? Doesn’t your husband buy you any new clothes? Oh hello, who will buy your used clothes that too with such expensive price tag? It’s better to donate these clothes to underprivileged people than selling and profiting from them? Do you not feel any shame while selling these overpriced clothes?”

Khattak took the questions and answered them one by one in her next Instagram story. The answers were, “Is it necessary to always announce the good deed you’re about to perform? Is it also compulsory that anything a public figure does, has to be questioned with negativity? What will a less fortunate person do with ‘branded’ clothes when his first and last concern is to be able to afford a meal, must I feed them clothes?”.

She also explained the reason behind her holding the sale. “I decided to host this so-called sale only to profit out of what I’m selling. The more I profit, the more I can give back to the people who are in dire need of some help. The dollar currency was on fire when I purchased the items myself.”

She also expressed her confusion about netizens that why they do not block something that is bothering them. “When you have the option to ignore, unfollow, block or remove the person you disagree with or do not like then why waste energy by leaving negative remarks?,” she questioned.

The starlet concluded her post by wishing everyone a happy Ramazan and made a small prayer for her haters as well. “Like every Ramzan, this year I pray that Allah melts the hearts of all of his people, softens them and makes them fragrant as ever. And for those who spew nothing but hate, make their tongues as sweet as gulab jamun.”
