
Pakistani veteran actress Samina Ahmed is all set to mark her debut in Hollywood with upcoming Marvel series. The Suno Chanda famed star is reportedly shooting for a ‘Hollywood serial’ in Thailand, as per her husband and actor Manzar Sehbai has revealed on social media.
In a recent Instagram post, the Mah-e-Meer actor shared the news about receiving his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. In the comment section of the post, a fan inquired about Sehbai’s better half.
“Where is Samina ji?” asked an internet user Rubina Javed, to which Sehbai, 71, responded, “She is in Thailand, shooting for a Hollywood serial, will be back on May 6.”
However, the Bol actor did not reveal what project Ahmed is working on but, it is believed that the veteran actor is part of Disney+’s Ms Marvel.
As per details, Ms Marvel is currently being shot in Bangkok and Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar is also in the city for it.
According to a report by Indian media, “Farhan is currently stationed in Bangkok, along with an international cast and crew, for the shoot of a project with Marvel Studios, who are known to be one of the biggest film studios worldwide.”
Marvel Studio’s upcoming original series Ms Marvel, will have Iman Vellani play the lead character Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel. The series also has Churails actor Nimra Bucha in the cast, who is expected to have a titular role in the series.
According to a press release, “The Marvel Studios original series centers on fan-favorite Kamala Khan — a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, avid gamer, and voracious fan-fic scribe, Kamala has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel.”
