Troy Aikman, ESPN NFL analyst, has been receiving a lot of backlash after his recent remarks about Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs' victory over the New Orleans Saints.

On Monday, the Cruel Summer crooner showed up at Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, after missing his last two matches.

Taylor donned a gorgeous red and brown checkered minidress and Vivienne Westwood purse.

After the 26-13 win of Chiefs, Troy reflected on Taylor’s reaction on the broadcast, "The Mrs. likes it.”

The Love Story hitmaker’s fans started criticising the NFL analyst for his remarks on social media.

A fan wrote on X, “I know Troy Aikman's botox ass did NOT just call Taylor Swift "the Mrs." She's bigger than you could ever dream to be, cowboy.”

Another penned, “Dear Troy Aikman, DO NOT call Taylor Swift “the Mrs.” It’s demeaning. Even if she WAS his wife. She’s Taylor Alison Swift - global superstar.”

“Not sure which ahole #JoeBuck or #TroyAikman called @taylorswift13 "the Mrs" but you just lost ALL credibility with women. Whether you meant it or not, it was a chavanistic, disgusting statement,” a third noted.

Kansas City Chiefs' next match will take place on October 21, 2024.
