Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor shared his feelings regarding his upcoming film getting released on OTT amid the world-shifting pandemic.
With the second wave of the deadly coronavirus enveloping India, the country has been sent into another lockdown. That means theatres are once again shut down.
Arjun Kapoor, amongst many other artists, have been waiting for his film Sardar Ka Grandson to get launched in theatres for the masses to watch. After waiting for two years, the movie is getting released on the OTT but Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar actor seems to be positive about this change in the medium.
“As we sit in this post and in pandemic world, it seems exciting to know my film will be released on a streaming platform and be consumed by millions across the world. It will be an opportunity for it to be seen in different languages with subtitles,” he confessed.
“It (Sardar Ka Grandson) was meant to come out in theatres when I signed it and made with emotion of being presented on the big screen.” he went on. “But today, in the post and in pandemic, the world is very different. The form of entertainment is regardless of size of the screen.”
“I am excited that it is going to transcend the screen size and into a newer form for me as an actor,” he added.
