Pakistan TV actress Mariyam Nafees has turned to her social media handle to remind people about stop judging others who are not fasting.
The actress, who made her debut in the showbiz world with drama serial Diyar-e-Dil, recently took to Twitter and urged her fans and followers to stop asking anyone why they are not fasting in the holy month of Ramazan.
She posted, “Brothers, don’t ask a sister why she’s not fasting. In fact, don’t ask anybody who’s not fasting why they’re not fasting.”
Taking a dig at the moral bigrade, the Fitrat actress wrote, “Apne rozay pe dihaan do bhai. Ajeeb!”
“Go offer your prayers instead,” she added. Nafees also used the hashtag ‘#RozayKeThaikedaar’ to assert her point, “Normalise not pretending to fast when you’re not.”
Earlier, social activist and wife for former Pakistani cricket team captain Wasim Akram, Shaniera Akram and actress Jenaan Hussain had clapped back at trolls who asked them why they were not fasting.
