As the day to Christmas is approaching, the Royal Family is getting into the festive spirit with their pre-Christmas and holiday season celebrations.

This year, which proved to be a “brutal” for the British royals after key family members, King Charles, and Princess Kate, were diagnosed with cancer, seems like it will surely end on a good note.

On Sunday, December 15, Majesty Magazine Editor-in-Chief Ingrid Seward shared insights into the Christmas preparations of the Royal Family, while speaking in an interview with The Sun.

Sharing details about the excited plans, Seward stated, "They will all pull crackers and wear paper hats. Although The Queen never did and I presume Charles probably won’t."

Joining in the conversation was British photographer Arthur Edwards MBE, who revealed that they royals will kick off the festivities early and will honour the Norwegian tradition of exchanging gifts on Christmas Eve.

As for the guests, he stated that they will begin arriving at Sandringham on Christmas day.

Ingrid Seward continued to add that just like the previous years, Queen Camilla, to avoid chaos among the royal guests, would once again may be using an ornate seating plan.

"They'd have their names on a beautiful leather board, which would allow you to slide the names in and out,” he noted.

However, "The King will sit wherever he wants and that will be the head of the table,” added Edwards.

It was also confirmed by Seward that younger royals will also be joining the adults for lunch.

Soon after the lunch ends, all the Royal Family members will be allowed to leave for their own personal plans and appointments.
